Stroll through the Botanic Gardens

The Christchurch Botanic Gardens’ six conservatories are impressive indoor spaces to explore. Cunningham House is a tropical oasis, boasting plants from around the world including banana palms. Its second-storey balcony offers amazing canopy views. Check out the cactus house for desert vibes.

Visit Canterbury Museum

Sitting proudly at the heritage hotspot of Rolleston Ave and Worcester Boulevard, Canterbury Museum is a must-visit while in Christchurch. Interactive exhibits, taxidermy animals, contemporary and iconic art, and an incredible Antarctic collection.
